The BYD Seagull EV is a compact A‑segment electric hatchback built on BYD’s e‑Platform 3.0 and introduced in April 2023  Powered by a 55 kW permanent‑magnet synchronous motor, it achieves up to 305 km CLTC range on a 30 kWh Blade battery—and 405 km with the optional 38.9 kWh pack. A smart choice for city driving, the Seagull accelerates 0–50 km/h in 4.9 s, reaches a top speed of 130 km/h, and charges via AC (6.6 kW) or DC fast charging (30–40 kW)
